Bridal Pictures

I finally got my bridal pictures done yesterday. It was so much fun getting dolled up and putting on my dress. It all came to life and I can't wait till my mama walks me down and gives me away to the man of my dreams. It was real hot yesterday and putting on a heavy dress made it even hotter. I had my hair done for the photo shoot and by the time I got dressed my hair went flat from being so hot and it was so big and curly. I was a little upset about that and that I didn't have my nails done, but the photographer was showing me the pictures as he was doing them and I was impressed how well they where turning out. "I was just GLOWING". I'll have them by thursday so I can check them out. I can't wait to see them. I'm so happy I can't even explain it. It's the greatest and most exciting feeling ever. We only have 11 days left!!!! It's ALMOST here.

The Bridal Shower

My Bridal shower was BEAUTIFUL in every way. I'm so thankful for my great new family and everything they have done to welcome me into there family. To have my mom and sister here from Oregon for this special moment meant so much to me as well. I had a such a fun time at my party. It was elegant, classy and everything I could imagine.

There was so much thought and love put into the shower that I was in "AWW" and even had a sad moment. I appreciate everything everyone has done for this special occasion coming up for Michael and I. All the love and support we have is so amazing and I'm so excited to have our loved ones being a big part of it.

Ready for the big day!

There's been so much stress going on it's beginning to wear me out. I just hope the day gets here nicely and happily. Where just about done and ready for it to be here and out of the way. I'm getting so anxious I can hardly sleep. LOL There's a lot of work in planning and preparing for a wedding. I kinda wish I left the state and had a small wedding on the beach... WHAT WAS I THINKING? But it will be so worth this big memorable day that I'll be so happy in the end. It's nice to have help from everyone and I appreciate it so much. I don't know what I would do without them. Having extra hands is a plus that's for sure and I can't believe all the help my baby has done. He is such a trooper and go getter... I love it. He's got a surprise for me the day of the wedding and I've been bugging for him to tell me, but he isn't saying a word. I'm so bad when it comes to surprises and want to know right away what it is as soon as I here "SURPRISE".

We've still got a lot going on for the next 3 weeks. Tomorrow Mike has surgery to get his gallbladder removed. I was able to take the morning off so I can be there for him during his surgery time. Thank goodness! I would look like a bad wife-to-be if I wasn't there for him.
Wish him luck on that... I hope all goes well and he's not in such pain after. I can't believe he has to go through another surgery.

This weekend we have my bridal shower that my sister-in-law Tina and my cousin Tiffani been planning. I'm excited for that....

Also I get to pick up my wedding dress this weekend.... YEAH! I can't wait!

Father's Day

Sunday we celebrated Father's Day by just hanging out at home with the parents and enjoying a nice fathers day dinner with the family. I'm so happy I have such a WONDERFUL father in law. He's showed me so much love and support since the day I met him. He's such a great dad and I couldn't have asked for a better Father-In-Law.

And for my step dad who shows my mama so much love and takes care of her like she should be. Just shows me he is a man and the man my mama deserves. Thanks for all that you do Mike for my mama and sister. Your a great man and step daddy.

I hope they both enjoyed there FATHER'S DAY!

A few updates.

Mikes grandpa Rojas (poppi) had open heart surgery and we where real stressed out about how the surgery would go, but everything went smooth. Poppi is doing great and feels like 100 bucks. Mona has been in St.George the last two weeks helping out Mima with Poppi and making sure he gets his rest and does as the doctor says for recovering. We're real happy he's doing so well and recovering great. We now know he'll will be good to come down for our wedding.

We are waiting on two of my bridesmaids dresses and then we can get them altered. Some of my girls picked dresses that where long, but we are getting them hemmed up to there knees because it's going to be hot and it's a summer wedding. The color I picked was purple for the dresses and there absolutely beautiful.

There are only 4 weeks till the BIG DAY. My mom and sister Carly decided they need to get here earlier then the first of July so they'll be here the 22nd of this month now. We're all so excited and a little stressed out on getting everything done and taken care of. I have found someone to marry us, but we still need to get out marriage license out of the way. Where going to do that this week and then I still have a few little things I need to take care of.

Ill be able to pick up my dress the 26th from alterations and have my final fitting. I hope it turns out perfect with it being so close to my wedding day. I'm afraid doing any extra alterations will be a problem . With my bridal pictures set for the 29th I will need my dress done and perfect. It's getting so close and I can't wait. It's been so much work, stress & money, but it's been so much fun planning this big day for us.

Congratulations to Ricky and Janey on there precious baby girl Gracie. She's so adorable and can't hardly wait to see her. There so excited to be parents for the first time and it sounds like there enjoying every precious moment of it. I'm so happy for them and there new addition.

My Nephew Damon

I took my nephew Damon to get fitted for his tux a few weeks ago. I can't wait to see how handsome both our little Damon's they will look. We have both our nephews in the wedding line as our ring bearers. The groomsmen also have been fitted as well. The choice Mike made for their tuxes are really slick and I should say "PIMP" LOL. There all going to look real nice.
