My mom was in town last week for just a few days. Unfortunately it wasn't all fun. Mike my step dads brother passed away from a hard attack so they came down to arrange the funeral. Mike and Billy where real close brothers and it was very sad.

We got things in a cheerful mood a few days later. She just happen to be in town on her birthday. So we planned a gathering at her home away from home"The Post 112". My mom has a lot of love and respect in that place she might as well be half owner. It was so much fun hanging out with my mama, her friends and our family. We where a little beat from taking out the boat and being in the sun all day, but we managed to hang out and celebrate her 48Th Birthday!!!!

Where glad we got to celebrate her special day with her.

Update from the Newly Weds

Yesterday was our first month of being married. We're loving life and love knowing we have our special someone to count on through ups and downs, share our stories with and love each other more and more everyday. It's been an amazing feeling and changing my last name has been fun. A bit of a process, but it's done and I'm Danielle Wilde legally and officially. I even got a new name plate from work that was pretty exciting for me. hehe!

We got rid of all the stress of planning and having a wedding that we aren't sure what to do with ourselves now. We can start focusing on other things and have some fun. Where hopefully taking our honeymoon in September to Florida or California. I can not wait to get away from reality. It sure will be nice.

The wedding pictures came back from our photographer. I've had the disc for a few weeks, but wasn't able to load them to our laptop, but thanks to T we got it worked out. It was driving me insane knowing I had the disc, but couldn't see them. I was so anxious to to see them... They turned out good now it's deciding which ones I want.

Wilde Family Reunion

Yesterday we spent the day in Eureka with the Wilde Family. The Wilde family is so big they do a reunion every year in August. It's a lot of fun, they have a bunch of activities for the kids with fun prizes and they do an adult and children's auction. They put a lot of work into the reunion and it's always a great turn out.
